Akona Process Solutions will exhibit under its new branding in the UK for the first time at FoodEx Manufacturing Solutions, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from 7–9 April. The company will be located on stand G91.

Formed through the merger of Advanced Material Processing (AMP) and Automated Handling Solutions (AHS), Akona combines Spiroflow, Cablevey, Kason, and Marion. With over 200 years of combined experience and operations in the UK, Germany and the USA, Akona offers scalable and hygienic solutions for high-value material handling in the food and beverage industry.

At FoodEx, the company will demonstrate its Cablevey tubular drag conveyor, highlighting its ability to gently and efficiently move materials – an essential requirement for food processors. The Akona team will also discuss how integrated solutions from across its four brands can enhance productivity, reduce waste and improve hygiene.
