Kason Corporation has launched Precision-Flo, a new design for its Vibroscreen circular screeners that simplifies the adjustment of eccentric weights – a process critical to screener performance.
Traditionally, operators needed tools and partial disassembly to make weight adjustments. Precision-Flo replaces this with a tool-free mechanism, allowing quick and accurate changes. Operators can now access all 720 weight combinations by pulling a single pin, cutting adjustment times from hours to just minutes.
The system makes it easier to control material movement on the screen. The top eccentric weight governs horizontal amplitude, while the bottom weight controls vertical vibration and helps dislodge particles. Precision-Flo enables these settings without extra components or complex steps.
Other advantages include compatibility with Kason's Airlift device, allowing a single operator to make adjustments safely and efficiently. The system has been installed on all new Vibroscreen models up to 72 inches since February 2024 and is also available as a retrofit for existing equipment.
“Precision-Flo is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to making equipment easier to use and more efficient,” said Tom Finnegan, director of sales UK & EU at Akona. “It saves time, improves usability and raises the performance standard of Vibroscreen technology.”
