Our North Carolina facility serves as the U.S. headquarters and a center of excellence for sifting, screening and bulk bag handling equipment. Purpose-built to support a wide range of industrial applications, the site embodies our dedication to innovation, quality and performance. This facility was originally the home of Spiroflow’s North American operations, known as Spiroflow Systems. It is now the headquarters of Akona Process Solutions, bringing together four brands: Spiroflow, Cablevey, Kason and Marion.
Recent expansions have dramatically increased our manufacturing footprint and capabilities, streamlining operations, reducing lead times and improving the level of service we provide to customers across the country.
Located just minutes from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, the facility is easily accessible for customer visits, hands-on equipment demos, material testing and in-depth project collaboration.

This advanced site produces a full range of equipment, including bulk bag fillers and dischargers, flexible screw conveyors, mixers, sifters and integrated control systems, supporting industries across the continent with reliable and high-quality solutions.
Expanded Manufacturing Facility
In 2024, the facility expanded its manufacturing and assembly areas to meet growing demand and better serve customers across North America. The expansion also included in-house welding, a new press brake, and a laser cutting machine. What does this mean for our North American customers? Shorter lead times and reduced costs.

01 Material Testing
At our North Carolina facility, our team collaborates closely with you to develop customized material handling and processing systems that meet your exact requirements. The on-site test center features a wide range of equipment, including bulk bag filling and unloading systems, flexible screw conveyors, tubular drag conveyors, mixers, sifters, vibratory screeners and drying and cooling equipment.
By validating performance and ensuring your materials are handled as needed, our testing process provides the assurance you need to move forward with confidence.
