Akona Process Solutions, a new name in material processing and handling, is set to make its first appearance at CFIA Rennes this March. Following its participation in CFIA Toulouse last year, the company will use the event to showcase its capabilities to the French food industry.
Located in Hall 2.3, Booth #2-F32, Akona's stand will feature a focused display where regional sales manager for France & Benelux, Marc LeMeut and solutions & continuous improvement consultant Emmanuel III Ricohermoso will meet visitors to discuss how Akona can deliver efficiency and innovation to processing operations.
Formed from the merger of Advanced Material Processing (AMP) and Automated Handling Solutions (AHS), Akona combines the strengths of Cablevey, Kason, Marion and Spiroflow. Together, these brands bring more than 200 years of expertise in handling high-value materials across food and beverage, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and chemical sectors. With facilities in Germany, the UK and the USA, Akona is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for scalable and hygienic solutions.
“France is an important market for us and expanding our presence here is a key focus,” said Tom Finnegan, director of sales at Akona Process Solutions. “After a successful showing in Toulouse last year, CFIA Rennes gives us the perfect opportunity to officially launch the Akona brand and strengthen our relationships with industry leaders.”
As the company's first trade show under its new identity, CFIA Rennes is a significant milestone. Visitors will be able to learn about Akona's portfolio of mixers, blenders, dryers, screeners, tubular drag conveyors, bulk bag systems and integrated controls – solutions designed to reduce downtime, increase output and improve hygiene in food production.
