Efficient Emptying of Disposable Bags in Plastics Plant
A plastics manufacturer using high volumes of low-cost, single-use bulk bags required an efficient way to empty them without compromising hygiene or increasing manual handling risks. We supplied a T4 Unloader for spoutless bags featuring a heavy-duty support hopper with an integral piercing blade assembly. Bags were loaded using a forklift and safely ruptured from the bottom, allowing plastic granules to flow into a screw conveyor for downstream processing.
The system eliminated the need for operators to manually open bags, improved throughput, and significantly reduced dust exposure.
